I earned my B.A. in Film Studies and Philosophy from the University of Georgia and I have held TEFL Certification since 2016.
In 2013, I published my first essay in Film Matters Magazine. Since then, I’ve maintained a blog for my essays and film reviews. Inspired by my love for film, I hit the ground running in the Atlanta film industry, working on over a dozen projects over a two-year span.
As much as I loved my time working in film, I had a travel itch that needed to be scratched. So, I did what any self-respecting vagabond would do: I packed my bags and moved to Taiwan to teach English! After teaching English to children and adults for two years (and blogging all the way), I decided to take my show on the road and become a full-fledged digital nomad, writing and teaching English online to make a living. Over the next year, I saw 8 different countries on 3 separate continents, before finally returning home to Atlanta, Georgia.
